Pediatric Dentistry
Our doctors believe a trip to the dentist should be fun, lighthearted, and not something to fear. The way your child is exposed to dentistry lays the groundwork for how they view dental care and dental visits for the rest of their lives.
Our team loves caring for their patients, and work hard to make sure each child is spoken to gently, treated with respect, and cared for as if they were our own child. We use simple words at Jupiter Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics Of Allen to explain procedures to our patients and make sure each parent or guardian is aware of the process as well.
Infant Oral Exams
Studies have shown that the earlier a child receives their first dental exam, the less dental treatment was needed during their youth. We recommend oral exams for children when their first tooth erupts.
Pediatric Cleanings & Exams
Routine cleanings and exams are necessary to make sure your child’s teeth stay healthy throughout childhood. Our doctors recommend two cleanings a year to maintain optimal oral health.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays allow our doctor to get a view of your child’s teeth and jaws that they can’t see with their eyes, while keeping radiation exposure to a minimum.
Fluoride
Regular fluoride treatments help reduce your child’s risk of developing cavities and can remineralize areas where decay is starting. Our doctors believe regular fluoride treatments are an important part of treatment for most children.
Frenectomies
Frenectomies are a valuable procedure that corrects tongue-tie and prevents future periodontal problems caused by tissue pulling on the lip or gums. Our doctors can perform this procedure in-office with just a little anesthetic.
Pediatric Sealants
Sealants help protect your child’s teeth from decay by filling in the grooved biting surfaces of your child’s teeth, making them easier to clean. Our doctors apply this light-cured material in minutes, and the procedure requires no anesthesia.
Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF)
Silver Diamine Fluoride, or SDF, is a safe, noninvasive treatment that can stop decay in its tracks postponing the need for a permanent restoration, at least for a little while.

An incredible experience with our pediatric dentist! My 4-year-old daughter eagerly anticipates every visit. (She used to fear and dislike dental appointments before discovering this practice!) This place is the best hands down from every angle. The front staff is always so welcoming and anytime I need receipts I email them and they always respond max next business day. Also the same front staff has been working there since we have been going for about 8+ years. That is a big plus and says a lot about the environment there. Both dentist are so nice and good. I have 2 kids who have done ortho, one currently is doing it, my older one had braces 5 years ago and his teeth look amazing still. The office is always so clean too. Thank you from me and my 4 boys 🙂
